Kind of happy reunion despite Gregg’s outbursts…!

Also! Good news! In a few weeks I’ll have my first “free” weekend since… October? Free as in I am not going away, I have nothing planned & I might not have to work! I will do my best to draw a couple of buffer pages! I’ve missed having those around. I’m excited!

Gregg’s sitting around looking…

Sorry about this very late update. I didn’t expect it to be this late but November and December has officially been this year’s most busy months work wise. Some weeks I just went home to sleep 5 hours, wake up, work out, then train back to work. It’s been like that for some time. Awesome time consuming things happening at work = less cool stuff happening at home. That’s the life of a game developer for you. You can’t have it all, but I am happy I’m in the business – esp. with the wonderful people I work with!

Anyway, happy holidays everyone! Hope you will have a fantastic time!

I also want to share a link to a fantastic web comic! Derelict ! I am really impressed by the detail of backgrounds, environment and how it still has a lot of flow. For me, a too detailed comic could lack of flow and focus. But Derelict does def. not have that problem. Loving it so far! Check it out!

Also, I’ve totally forgot to post this! I commissioned Michael Sexton a while ago to draw a portrait of Rosita. It’s so awesome! <3 Check out his web comic, Everblue. Def. worth reading! One of my favorites out there!

Finally an update! I have been super busy past weekends, but I had some time to catch up on this page today.

As you might have noticed I changed name of the comic. Finally! My good friend and collegue Jeff McClelland helped me to come to a final decission. I like it a lot!

Take off…!? Go Gregg, Go!

Sorry about the late update again. I did my best to finish it on time but sometimes life gets in the way.

I’ve to admit that the pace of updates might be a bit shake:y now and then. I’ll always aim for 1 page a week, but that’s not really realistic lately. I’ll try to explain without being too personal and dramatic.

I’ve come to a point when I realized that I need to slow down a bit. I’ve always been passionate about work, sometimes with way drastic discipline. But the last couple of years my mind and body have started to show effects that this can’t go on forever. My tinnitus has gotten a lot worse since 1 ½ years back, which have given me a bit of a sleeping disorder and hard time to focus properly. I finally took time and guts to get proper prof. rehabilitation on coping with it. Which means I need to do daily exercises and work out a lot. For now, after I come home from daily work, my well-being is number 1 priority. All other work related obligations and hobbies come next (Försupen being my hobby project ). This has been a really hard decission to make, since working on art and comics on my spare time makes me really really happy. But to stay happy I need to stay healthy. I have been prioritating fun & work before well being and now I need to reverse it for some time.

I’ve been doing this for some weeks now and I am already making progress since I sometimes notice difference in the noise in my ears. Which is a great sign – but I plan on keep doing this for some time to see how much I can reduce it – and control it in the future so it won’t get worse again! I am positive about this!

With that said: like usual, I’ll see you next update! Hopefully soon, ok?
